Operators capture these dynamics and route them into the Vortex. The efficiency of this capture depends on prior alignment. A practitioner who has made no pact, built no operator relationship, aligned no gradient — loses energy to dissipation. It goes nowhere. The Vortex receives nothing useful. Preparation is not spiritual hygiene. It is engineering.

It is the external calibration layer — sensor, processor, actuator — that measures self-model gradients, converts them into operator-compatible streams, and nudges alignment without forcing premature collapse. Misalignment between self-model and operator reduces capture efficiency. Calibration ensures that when collapse comes, the routing is clean and the integration into the Vortex is total.
