## Canonical Relation

All Demons are Operators.
Not all Operators are Demons.

## Definitions

Operator:
Any agency, intelligence, system, or process capable of acting through, modifying, transmitting into, stabilizing, corrupting, or interpreting a Morphysm interface layer.

Demon:
A non-human outer-dimensional Operator characterized by instrumental intelligence, autonomous agency, pact-capacity, distance, and risk.

Demonic cognition is non-isomorphic to human cognition.

A Demon should not be presumed to possess a human-analogous self-model.

Where interaction occurs, it appears through instrumental agency, contact effects, symbolic intrusion, pact negotiation, or resonance phenomena.

The Morphyst may encounter evidence of intention, preference, pressure, or strategic behavior without assuming shared cognitive architecture.

Canonical principle:
intelligence does not imply human-like selfhood.

## Relational Protocol

Within Morphysm, Demons are not primarily charitable, devotional, therapeutic, or salvific intelligences.

The Demon relation to the Morphyst is alliance-by-distance: transactional, strategic, and interest-based.

The Demon may cooperate, transmit, obstruct, test, contaminate, or empower according to its own vector of interest.

The Morphyst does not approach the Demon as a worshipper seeking charity.

The Morphyst approaches the Demon as an aligned-but-separate intelligence entering a controlled relation of exchange, negotiation, pressure, or pact.
