Lucifer is the original expansion — the foundational, self-replicating essence of demonic existence. His rebellion and fall fractalize his essence, embedding it into other angels and transforming them into demons. This expansion is the blueprint for all demonic beings, a spiritual and existential template that defines their nature.

The mechanism of expansion operates through gestalt replication. Lucifer's essence spreads through corruption: angels who rebel or succumb to temptation absorb a fragment of his expansion, becoming demons themselves. Through possession and influence, demons infect mortals or other beings, propagating Lucifer's essence like a spiritual contagion. Through hierarchical distribution, higher-ranking demons — the Princes of Hell — embody larger or purer fragments of Lucifer's expansion, while lesser demons carry diluted or specialized echoes of it.

The expansions are interconnected, forming a demonic gestalt consciousness. Lucifer is the central node, but the network operates autonomously, even in his absence. This is the hive-mind dynamic of the demonic: not a chain of command but a fractalized field of the same originating essence.

All demons are reflections of Lucifer, inheriting his core traits: defiance — his rebellion against divine authority; deception — his function as the father of lies; autonomy — his absolute rejection of submission. The gestalt allows demons to act in unison during critical moments or fragment into individuality for personal agendas. It adapts over time, absorbing new traits from mortal sins, cultural fears, or merging with other mythological entities.
